Our seat/rigger kits are designed to work with all our boats and provide a robust system of propelling your vessel. The design for the supporting components varies depending on the boat model. The instructions provided with the kit below are for the Expedition model. Instructions/plans for the Cambridge and Cruiser will be available shortly. The riggers bolt firmly to the boat itself, while the sliding seat frame rests on the base of the hull. The riggers are constructed from wood and fiberglass. The rowing components are the same as those used by professional rowers and Olympians.
Our kits provide all the rowing hardwardware, templates and instructions. Lumber, fibreglassing materials and basic hardware are required to complete the system (approximate additional cost of $50-$80). Construction time is 10-15 hours.
